Our third offering is Day of Wedding Coordinating. Our "day of" coordinators are great if you are all set with your wedding planning but need an extra set of hands on the day of your wedding. If you are getting married at a venue where there is no wedding professional on staff (a backyard wedding, a restaurant, a barn, a museum, a music venue, etc.) a coordinator will be key. This is typically an 8 hour investment in having a professional coordinate with your vendors, make sure the space looks picture perfect, assist with bridal party requests, help direct guests, help with transporting flowers, decorations, etc. The team at Kristine King Events looks forward to working with you to create a stress free day!

On the wedding day we will:

  • Arrive at the ceremony site two hours before the wedding ceremony
  • Oversee all pertinent details and serve as point of contact for guests and vendors
  • We will oversee and troubleshoot any problems that may come up. We will work with your wedding professionals and be the main point of contact for all parties involved
  • Assist vendors with set up which includes floral displays, bridal party flowers, programs and guest book
  • Greet the family and guests as they arrive. Be sure everyone from the groomsman, grandparents, parents readers, soloists, guest book and program attendants receive their corsages and boutonnieres. If grandma and parents are walking down the aisle, we will make sure their purses and personal belongings are brought to their designated seat ahead of time
  • Work with the ushers (or bridal party) to make sure the guests are being escorted to their seats. We can remind them that you wanted the first two rows reserved for immediate family and the remainder to be filled out evenly so that the groom's side doesn't overpower the brides side, or vice versa
  • Make sure that the wedding starts on time and stays on schedule all throughout the day
  • Make sure the wedding musicians are cued for guests arrival, processional and recessional and are cued appropriately to ensure correct pacing and timing
  • Lining up and cuing the wedding party when it's time to walk down the aisle, making sure they look great, are smiling and paced perfectly
  • We will orchestrate a receiving line. Whether it is rose petals or bubbles we will make sure all of your guests get their items and line up after the ceremony for the grand exit. We will make sure the photographers are ready for that perfect shot before we send you out. Whether you are headed right to the reception, or you are going back to the ceremony location for pictures, we will make sure all parties involved know what is happening next
  • Following the ceremony, will assist with transporting flowers, gifts, programs, emergency kits (you name it!) to the reception site
  • At the reception site we will welcome the catering staff, reception site coordinator, band or DJ and any other wedding professional and will confirm the order of events and answer any last minute questions they may have regarding the timeline
  • Make sure the bride & groom and bridal party have refreshments and hors d'oeuvres during the photography session
  • At the reception ensure the cocktail hour is running smoothly
  • Gather and line up the family and wedding party for the announcements into the reception
  • Orchestrate and coordinate all the special events. This includes the first dance, parent dances, special dances, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss and any other events planned
  • Make sure for the remainder of the evening the wedding day timeline is executed flawlessly!
  • Distribute all final payments and gratuities to all vendors on your wedding day
  • My price point varies depending on the amount of pre-wedding set up required. My team is available to set up all additional decor not provided by outside vendors
  • There is an additional charge for post wedding breakdown which includes help with gifts, favors, flowers and any items to be taken home
